Cancellation Policy & Missed Appointments
Counselling appointments are 50 minutes in length (unless agreed on another duration). Your appointment is held exclusively for you. It is important that you arrive on time because your appointment will not be extended beyond your scheduled time if you arrive late. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
If you need to reschedule your appointment for any reason please provide 24 hours’ notice.
If you do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee.
When you provide less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation, you will be charged 50% of the full fee.
Another appointment will not be made until payment for the missed appointment has been received.
For clients covered by EAPs that do not pay for no-shows, you will be required to personally pay for any missed appointments.
Please understand that there are often clients on a waiting list / cancellation list who really need our help, and by providing proper notice of cancellation you are allowing them the opportunity to get the help they need and you are ensuring that you are not charged for a missed session that you will not benefit from.
